Well, I just did our moodle session today. It was about Chantra Shastri. And how she came to America to find true love and not her traditional arranged marriage. Since she is a female her culture requires her to be the sole caregiver to her families needs. She can not marry the one real person she truely loves. So, she moves to America to find love. Since she moved to America her mother is already giving her the "your not my daughter" treatment becuase she is not following her tradition. It so sad to me beacuse I wouldn't want to marry a person whom I wasn't in love with. The connection would not be there and I think I would feel like I was a prisoner of love. That's why I love being in this U.S. territory because we are free to chose what we want to do and be.
