Tradition

At the moment, I just finished our moodle assignment. I really enjoyed doing it. Reading Chantra Shastri's essay was very moving, and I really connected with her story. Her story made me think about how I look at my culture. I do want to uphold tradition, and even though I do, I am thankful that I have certain freedoms. The act of her mother crying is so symbolic, and I liked how she described it. Shastri's essay was written with meaning, she had a yearning to obey, yet she wanted to follow her heart. I thought her essay was very well written, and I hope that my writing could be as symbolic, as meanginful, as Chantra Shastri's essay.
