Professor Rivera read poems from a book made by her and her father called "A Better Life Away From Drugs". I never had a problem with drugs or alcohol nor have any of my family. I pray that my children make wise decision when they are not around me or my husband. My children who are grown were raised with discipline; my younger children are more spoiled. The younger children get to go places without me or my husband. My adult children were always chaperoned. I have always sheltered my three older children. At least I know that they have grown into mature responsible adults, however, my fear is that they might try things that was not in their environment. So far all my children have made wise decision, they tell me not to worry about them. As a parent that is all I can do is worry, our children are our teachers. We learn how to grow as our children grow.

Today in class I learned to outline; organizing my thoughts would be easier once I am ready to write a paper.
