In order to write, you must go through the writing process, which involves controlling idea, organization, and developing support. I believe brainstorming will help you with your subject and it's treatment.
You simply can't write one subject, after another subject, and so forth. You must have a clear idea what the subject is, which you can branch out to many assortments of subjects seeing that it is controlled. However, each subject must have a clear treatment, which can go before or after a subject. It is more effectively controlled this way, rather than compiling subject to another subject without a treatment or a treatment without a subject. It is definitely a must that subject and treatment are in a sentence. Other than that, I think it's very good to keep in mind your topic in each sentence.
Being able to utilize the controlling idea, whilst branching it out for more information, given that you make a thesis statement, provides an overall organization and developmental support. That is, you use subject and treatment not too broadly or narrowly. Additionally, specification towards one subject can be thorough to the reader and this goes hand-in-hand with limitations.
P.S. Happy Birthday!
