Hope

Glad to report that the sun is shining! It's great to see especially since its been gloomy all week. Other than that, today is a day in the computer lab. Today, we will discuss what we have been learning so far in stages one through three, and actually applying it in a continuous manner.

Class started with quote presentations. Nicole presented her quote first, by Thomas Alva Edison.

Her interpretation was about hard work, and I agree, shortcuts don't exactly lead you down the right path. Maria presented a quote by Eric Hoffman. Her interpretation ties in with the next presentation by Jessica. She presented her quote by Michael Jordan. I can identify with her interpretation because I would say that I've had a lot of regrets, and failures, and at times the urge to continue would dwindle, most especially if the situation effected me emotionally. Her interpretation has given me the motivation to let go of the past, and move into the future with a different outlook on how I look at my fears and my mistakes. Maria's quote combines with Jessica's, and Nicole's quote to give the simple message, though we have failures, taking the easy rode is not diligent, not failing could present fear, and freedom would not be balanced. When fear is overcomed it does not stay defeated. I hope to not live in fear, and though if fear happens to make its way into my life, I hope as Jessica explained *"to try, try, try, and keep on trying until you have found a way to climb over that illusion known as fear".
