Veterans Holiday
How is everyone? This is actually the first week, that we don't meet at all. I feel like I haven't been in class in ages. Luckily I will see all of you next week. Our last class date was on Veterans Day. I've looked at the posters in the library, and it really got me thinking about sacrafices. I mean, to some of us, we sacrafice many things everyday, and to think that an average U.S soldier is sacraficing his or her life everyday, is brave. A family member of mine, was just in Iraq this past year, and luckily he returned home. I feel for all those families who are worried about there loved ones in Iraq and all over the world, its tough. Hopefully, our new president, who set goals to get all U.S soldiers out of Iraq will keep his word. My thanks goes out to all the Veterans, ones in the war, and those that fought for us before we were even born because without there sacrfice, we wouldn't be free.

That is good that your family member was able to return home safe. I always find that one of God's greatest blessing.
I was very happy when Obama won for President. I liked that he wanted to pull out some of the troops. I am in Political Science class, and my professor used to work for the federal government. Most of them had told Bush that war in Iraq was not a good idea.
The rest is History.
