Day One!!!
The first day is always the worst, going into class not knowing what to expect. For me it was thinking is she going to sign my paper so i can take this course. It was exciting because i'm finally going back to school. It makes me feel like i'm doing something better for myself and my daughter. The thing is I feel so out of place because i've been out of school for two years and that's another reason why i'm taking this class, to refresh my memory. I'm sitting here and i don't know what to say anymore, But it will get better once i start getting the hang of things...It's only the begin!

hey phillisha! I just wanted to say keep up the good work. It's hard coming back to school when it's been so long. I can relate to you somehow because I felt exactly how you felt going in for the first day of class. But as the days went by I thought to myself that we can be able to accomplish anything we want in life if we put our minds to it. And since we both want to have that security for our kids, we will strive even harder and will be more motivated. So don't worry your not alone! :)
Phillisha,
I'm really happy that you decided to go back to school. Your one of many that haven't done so, and you should be happy for yourself because it'll make a huge difference towards your life. I'm excited to get to know you, as well as the rest of the class. As I've read, from the previous comment from Kisha, you are not alone. I too feel confuse, as a freshman, in this new pond called College. Well, I enjoyed your blog, and please keep pressing on the keyboard!
Hi Phillisha,
You feel out of place? You are so lucky that you are not that far away like me. You are still good!! I missed out and away for 8 years! If you are feeling lost, you are so not alone. I felt so old and different from the others. You are okay. If anything, we are all in this together. Anytime you need someone to talk to, I am here.
I'm so glad that you are excited to come back to school. I think that you are doing something better by coming back, and I'm sure your daughter would be proud to have a mom making such a wise decision.
