The Love of Studying
First weekend after our first week in school, and I'm thinking to myself how I should go about spending it. Well to my surprise I was lucky enough to tackle some things on my "TO DO LIST" which in my sometimes busy life I don't often attend to. One of my goals this semester was to manage my time wisely and stop procrastinating. Being a mother to a one year old these days can be pretty chaotic, but that's no excuse to not make the effort and try. Friday was just a regular movie night for me, watched Death Race it was good. Then along came Saturday and I woke up feeling ready to start my day off right. I sat down ate my breakfast and wrote my Agenda for the day as to what assignments needed to be done for each of my 4 classes, to me it was just easier to go through it. Then it was off to the Library around 11am ... I stayed there studying and finishing off assignments left to right, until about an hour when it closed. I also decided to stop by the computer lab to print out my Art Notes and that was it! The rest of the day was mine to relax! I was so proud of myself for just keeping my word in doing this little task. Now I promise myself it'll be a routine for me to keep up for this semester and make it a habit to get my study skills up to par. After all it's been awhile since I've been in school. The motivation to succeed little at a time is getting to me and I'm loving it all!
Happy Belated Labor Day to you too! :):D
